What we collect when you use af-os.com, why, and the choices you have.
Who we are
This website, af-os.com, and the AgriForce OS demo at afos.newwayagri.com are run by Newway Infomatics Private Limited (“Newway”, “we”, “us”), which makes AgriForce OS. We have offices in Chandigarh and Hyderabad, India, and in London, United Kingdom. For anything in this policy, write to sales@newwayservices.in.
What we collect
- Details you give us in the demo, download and contact forms: name, company, designation, country, phone number, work email, your message and any pricing estimate you send.
- Verification codes we email to confirm your work email before a download. We keep only a scrambled (hashed) copy of each code.
- Technical data: your IP address, stored only as a one-way hash so we can limit abuse, and the type of device (phone or desktop).
- Page views, only if you allow analytics: which page you opened and the device type. This is counted on our own server, without cookies.
Why we use it
- To reply to you, arrange a demo and prepare a proposal (steps you asked for, and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries).
- To confirm your email before a download and to stop spam and abuse (legitimate interest).
- To understand which pages are useful (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time from Cookie settings).
- To meet legal, tax and accounting duties.
We do not sell your data, we do not use advertising networks on this site and we do not use your details to train AI models.
Who can see it
Our sales and product team. Our hosting provider stores the website and form data on our behalf, and our email provider delivers messages. They act on our instructions only. We share data with others only if the law requires it.
Where it is stored
Data is stored on servers run by our hosting provider and may be processed outside your country. Where the law requires it, we use safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and demo or download sign-ups: up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a customer.
- Verification codes: up to 24 hours.
- Page view counts: up to 13 months.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the EU and UK GDPR and India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, you can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to how we use it, ask us to limit it, take a copy with you, and withdraw consent. Email us and we will reply within one month. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
The live demo
The demo uses made-up sample data. Settings you change in the demo stay in your browser. The only details sent to us are the ones in the sign-up form.
Children
This website is for businesses and is not meant for anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date below. Significant changes will be shown on the site.
